How do customers approve proofs?
They receive an email with a secure link to the approval portal — no account or login needed. For each artwork they click Approve or Request changes with a comment, and you are notified by email instantly.
Does Proofed integrate with Shopify orders?
Deeply. Orders sync in automatically, proof status is written back as customisable order tags, and a "Manage proofs" link on the Shopify order page jumps straight to that order's proofs.
Can I generate print and cut files from Proofed?
Yes. The built-in cut editor exports VersaWorks-compatible PDFs with the industry-standard CutContour spot colour, plus a cropped print PDF and the customer-facing proof — all from one save. Ideal for sticker, label, and sign businesses.
What file types can I upload?
PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, and PDF (a multi-page PDF becomes one proof per page automatically), up to 20 MB per file. The cut editor also accepts Photoshop PSD files.
Can customers see what holographic or glitter material will look like?
Yes. Apply a material — holographic, glitter, gold or silver foil, clear vinyl, transparent DTF, or UV DTF — and the proof renders with that finish, including a "no white ink" simulation for transparent substrates.
What happens when a customer requests changes?
Their comment lands in your inbox and the order flips to Revision Requested. Upload a new version (the full history is kept), resend, and the customer reviews again — as many rounds as it takes.
